As part of activities to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF), in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Office of the First Lady of Bauchi State, unveiled the Skill Development and Economic Empowerment Programme under the theme: “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.”
The programme empowered 300 persons with disabilities, equipping them with vital skills for economic independence. In addition, the Foundation donated 20 tricycles to individuals with mobility challenges, further promoting inclusion and accessibility.
This initiative underscores AMF’s unwavering commitment to advocating for the rights and leadership of persons with disabilities while advancing efforts to create an inclusive and sustainable future.
